Hello Friends!
Our 2nd annual May auction was incredible fun! We were able to provide BCHMCPS with an $11,000.00 check to be put toward charter school enrichment and initiatives. We are so glad that we have seen such wonderful things happen this school year. As we look back, we reflect on the following:
This year we had a terrific group of enrichment clusters that the entire school body participated in.
Nancy Miller continued with her enrichment groups throughout the year.
We were able to provide a weekend enrichment program with Zooquarium.
We sponsored refreshments at The Garden at BCHMCPS kick-off.
Music and Art received a permanent location in the school.
We held two fundraisers with the 99 Restaurant and Friendly's
Students were encouraged to submit personal artwork to grace the covers of our limited edition notecards and auction program.
We held our 2nd Annual Friends of BCHMCPS Auction.
We would also like to thank Nicola Stacy, Kate Fredericks and Melissa Caughey for their hard work and dedication to Friends of BCHMCPS. Their positions will be open this July. If you are interested in becoming recording secretary, corresponding secretary or treasurer please email us. We would love to have you!
We hope that you have a safe and fun summer vacation and we cannot wait to see you all again in the Fall.

3 Weeks Away
We have just updated our sponsorship and donation page. If you get the chance, please take a peek. There you will find some fantastic auction items that have just been added including Taylor Swift concert tickets, a Ross Coppelman necklace even a basket from the Cake Boss in New Jersey himself!
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the auction. If you have yet to get your tickets, there is still time. Please email us at friendsofbchmcps@gmail.com and we will send one to you right away. You will not want to miss this annual event!

Welcome to our Website
Hello Friends!
Welcome to the launch of our website. We are very excited to be online! On our site you will find all of the information that you need to stay involved and up to date with our events. Please take a look around as we continue to add new information daily. Here is a recent letter from our President:
We are busy planning our 2nd annual auction to be held on May 19, 2011. Through the support of generous local donors, we raised $8375 last year to assist with the expenses associated with our enrichment programs and various charter school initiatives and expenses.
All of the students at our school are taught using the Accelerated School Plus (ASP) method of teaching. This teaching method is based upon the premise that all children can benefit from and deserve the kinds of enriching learning experiences that school have traditionally offered to the gifted and talented students. Because this method is unique primarily to charter schools, local and national funding does not exist for these programs. It is only through our fundraising efforts that we can continue to offer and expand upon these powerful learning programs.
Because we are a 501(c)3 public charity, all donations made to Friends of BCHMCPS are fully tax deductible. We need your support and look forward to a successful partnership in helping to make our school the best that it can be for our children. Be a part of our success!
