Welcome to the launch of our website. We are very excited to be online! On our site you will find all of the information that you need to stay involved and up to date with our events. Please take a look around as we continue to add new information daily. Here is a recent letter from our President:
We are busy planning our 2nd annual auction to be held on May 19, 2011. Through the support of generous local donors, we raised $8375 last year to assist with the expenses associated with our enrichment programs and various charter school initiatives and expenses.
All of the students at our school are taught using the Accelerated School Plus (ASP) method of teaching. This teaching method is based upon the premise that all children can benefit from and deserve the kinds of enriching learning experiences that school have traditionally offered to the gifted and talented students. Because this method is unique primarily to charter schools, local and national funding does not exist for these programs. It is only through our fundraising efforts that we can continue to offer and expand upon these powerful learning programs.
Because we are a 501(c)3 public charity, all donations made to Friends of BCHMCPS are fully tax deductible. We need your support and look forward to a successful partnership in helping to make our school the best that it can be for our children. Be a part of our success!
